Sometimes I Worry....

Here are my daily worries of raising a beautiful little girl....

******
Sometimes I worry....

That we are spoiling her by constantly indulging her want of wearing jackets with pajamas....

That she likes to put my underwear under the sink....

That she enjoys emptying my drawers more than playing with her toys....

That her legs are so adorable I can't stand it....

That she looks too cute holding my giant undies....

That she hates bows and rips them off her head....

That one day she will hate me for sticking these bows on her head....

That her hat obsession will lead to a fashion driven life....

**********
I also worry that my readers will take this seriously.
***********
I cannot find it possible to love another human being as much as I and her Daddy do.

More Fun with Abby

So, I guess the pj's aren't THAT bad.
Here she is the morning handing Daddy the camera cord.
I never tire of looking at pictures of her.

And....here is tonight's selection. By far the worse. If it weren't for the tiny flowers on them, I would swear they were for boys.

Mommy and Abby
Tonight, I discovered a "new" game. Abby stood behind me and pushed me down. I am not kidding that this child laughed about it for at least 30 minutes. We were cracking up as well.

She laughed even harder if I grabbed her and threw her on my back.

Abby also finds is very amusing to grab her Boobies when I am dressing her. (Check out that belly!!)

After a good scrub down to get dry from the bath. What am I supposed to do with this hair???

She is trying to finally play with her basketball game though. But they only thing that she wants to do is stuff things in it that are too big to fit.

The Nascar outfit that she was wearing when I got home.

No matter where this chair is, she wants to sit in it. I am just glad that she still fits in it (for now).

Daddy Bought my PJs

I am 100% into Pink, Pink and more Pink. Daddy is a little more practical. He went and bought a ton of pj's at the consignment shop (which is the best thing EVER). They are "girly" just green. But it is hard to make this little gal not be cute no matter what she wears.

Here is outfit number one - I think that he got like 5 of them, so I will try to post pictures of all of them. I have to say that we have different taste!

But at least he was sweet enough to pick her some stuff out. Oh, to be a fly on the wall...

Isn't she just the sweetest thing that you have ever seen?

Oh, and did I mention that she is a "full time" walker. I don't like talking about it. It just makes me so sad. She just walks around the house like she has been doing it for years and doesn't understand why we scream and clap every time she does it.
*************
I know that I should talk about it more. But it is hard. I don't want our little girl to grow up and seeing her walking just tears at my heart strings. Of course, I worried and worried about her NOT walking, then I wasn't ready for it when it happened. And it was just so sudden. *sigh*
**************

Sorry Nana (for the pacy pictures), but I found these on the camera. Apparently Stu took them one day and I never saw them.

Abby was "stuck" in her toy bin.
******************
Does anyone have tips for losing the Pacy? I SWORE that it would be gone when she was one. Then I SWORE that she would never walk with it. Both milestones have passed. We also said that once they were gone, they were gone. We started out with about 15, and have been down to 1 for about 6 months. She is ADAMANT about holding on to that one! We need help!!!
******************
One thing that I do love about having a girl is the...uh...things that DON'T happen when you change the diaper. You mothers of boys know what I am talking about. We have never had an "accident". Never. Tonight, I took her diaper off before putting her in the bath (as I do every night). I threw the diaper in the trash, turned around, and she had peed everywhere. She was in our bathroom, as we have roommates in the other bathroom. All over our bath mat, floor. I couldn't help but laugh as she looked at me extremely guilty.
Hey, the gal went 13 months with no accidents. Can't blame her.

Girl is Buuuussssyyyy

Let me just say that Abby is by far the sweetest baby in the entire world (not that I am biased or anything). She loves to hug her stuffed animals and I am trying to teach her to tell them that she loves them. I figure if she can tell them that she loves them, maybe Daddy and I are next!
She loves to share everything with us and I am hoping this spills over to other children as well.
Abby is getting very comfortable with strangers. We went to Julie and Mike's this weekend and she was loving her some Kayla (Julie's brother's girlfriend). Every time that she saw her, she leaped into her arms.
We also went to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University last night and she was sitting in the day care worker's lap when we went to leave (more on that later, it was just the first week so I want to get a feel for it).
**********************
The reason I am so into her is that I had to work from home today. So we got to spend the entire day together. Here is what we did (in between me working of course!).

Emptied the dishwasher. Apparently it is a "hands on" job.

This is the usual view that I have when I am getting ready in the mornings.

This girl has literally rearranged all of my makeup. Every day, I have to look for items that I need.

Today, she actually "packed" my makeup. I tried to tell her that Mommy had already gone on her business trip and wasn't leaving anytime soon. Maybe her and Daddy had too good of a time with me gone.....

Such an adorable face! (Doesn't her hair look so red in this picture??)

We did leave the house for a trip to the grocery. Somehow I got down to 2 rolls of toilet paper and since we have roommates during the week (one that is 8 months pregnant), I knew this wouldn't do. So I strapped on some strappy sandals.....

Abby modeled them for me

I dare you to find anything cuter than this!

Abby did have a minor meltdown after nap #2. I figured out that you better not skip this gal's afternoon snack. Look how splotchy her face is. Also want to say that she sat in her Bumbo for 45 minutes (!!!) eating goldfish and Teddy Grahams.

After snack, she filled my shoes with paper.

Decided to read a magazine.

Fitness magazine no less (I think Mommy needs to read this more than her!)

After leaving her alone for a few minutes (to work), this is what I find.

Luckily, Daddy did come home and they played blocks for a bit.
*****On a side note, does anyone else's child BANG things on tables?? We have a glass table and I am terrified that she is going to break it and hurt herself. I have noticed though, that she is totally testing me. I say No and she waits until I am watching her to do it again.

Then she climbed in one of her bins.

And tried to bang the block again. It is so hard to discipline when they are this cute!! (Just kidding, she totally gets time outs).

Played with "her" remote again.

But my Favorite picture is this one.
She is saying, "Woman, you better leave me alone or WATCH OUT!!!"

Busy Weekend

We have been helping Julie and Mike move all weekend, so not many pictures!

Here is one picture that I did get of Ms Abby begging to be picked up.

Not a great picture of Abby, but she would not leave Cash's tail alone!

Picture Overload

I am exhausted!!
Here was Abby and Stu's week:
Dishes

Knives

Sharing her purse

Walking around with her purse

She is such a little lady!

Wearing Daddy's clothes

Stu said that she put this on all by herself

Getting stuck in her chair

Again

Messy food

So pretty

Destroying my magazines

Getting a back scratch

Ticklish under the arms

And lastly, the lasagna that I came home to. I tried to get Stu to pose with it, but he refused, so I just got the back of him.
