Mike's Farm

We woke up this morning and it was one thousand degrees outside! Not really, but it sure did feel like it. No matter, we weren't going to let that stop us from visiting Mike's Farm. We have never been before, so weren't quite sure what to expect. We had a blast!! Although I was sweating profusely (good thing for baby wipes), the hayride was fun, the pumpkins were gorgeous and Oh the fudge!

Here is a picture of us on the hayride (we lost a bow early in the day, she is NOT a boy)

Abby wanted to eat the hay!

Abby and her friend Kaylin. She is 6 months old and has the most beautiful blue eyes

Photo shoot in the pumpkin patch.

We bought these two pumpkins, a big one for us and a small one for Abby.

Apparently part of the "experience" of Mike's Farm is buying the ridiculously high priced pumpkins...it was like $18 for these two!

No matter though, we had a great time.

The dinner at this place was AMAZING! It was a flat fee and they served unlimited fried chicken, pork tenderloin, ham biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corns, and mac and cheese. Apparently the mac and cheese here is legendary. The waitresses aren't even allowed in the kitchen to know what is in it. We decided that cream cheese was one of the secret ingredients, but it was the most delicious thing that I have ever tasted. For the drinks, whatever you ordered, they brought you a glass and a pitcher for refills. Then dessert was cheesecake, banana pudding or pumpkin bars. Delicious! Abby ate a small person's worth of mashed potatoes and bread...that girl is like her momma and likes her carbs!

Here she is eyeing that mac and cheese!

Then she decided that banana pudding was also on her list!

Before we left, we visited Pedro the donkey. He wasnt too exciting, but we were so full, we werent that exciting either!

Justine - I know I told you that Abby was going to wear her Halloween dress. Pretty sure it swallowed her!

There was no way she was going to last a day in this dress! The pictures dont lie, it is really this big on her. But Im thinking that she will be wearing it next year!

Ms. Abby looked adorable in her little Halloween dress, even if it were a little big!

Those law firms around there must have little faith in the police force. I mean C'mon. Lol. That is just too funny.... Poor Stu. He was probably about to have a heart attack....... He was probably thinking if it's not a divorce, who did she threaten this time!
