Mother's Day Weekend

We started the weekend with Jazzfest on the Square. It was a beautiful day, not too hot, not too cold. Abby running outside of the library.

I love this picture, which makes me love my camera!

I had to keep Abby in her stroller all day. If I took her out, she was off like a shot. She would run through groups of people, pushing them out of the way. She fell once and totally bit the concrete. Has a small scratch on her nose - but that girl is a trooper!

This picture just shows you what an amazing day it was - ALL girls!

Traci with Ruby, Regan, and Riley
Amber with Callie
Me and Amanda with Abby
Can you imagine 6 little girls with 5 big girls?

Mother's Day was wonderful.
We started the day with a service at New Vision. Abby had so much fun in the nursery. She didn't even notice when we went to get her. Although she did take a toy from a little boy and he promptly threw up on her! That was fun to clean up!

Then we went to Stuart's parents house and hung out for the afternoon.
We played outside all afternoon - until a missed nap reared its head.

Abby's "new" favorite thing to do is sit. I have a trunk in the living room of all the letters that Stu and I have written each other. She loves to sit on it. She loved to sit on the steps of this slide - refused to go down the slide of course!
My most favorite moment of today was when Abby woke up from her nap. I guess she was overwhelmed with all of the people (some new people had come by the house). All she wanted to do was snuggle in my lap, it was so sweet. Brought tears to my eyes!

Then we met my family for dinner. Forgot to take pictures. But we had a great time, although Abby did not behave at all. She went down to bed tonight without a fight!
