Diapers and Meltdowns

We have had quite an exciting day! I will try to recap everything here!
*******
Since Abby's birthday is so close to Christmas, she gets TONS of presents all at one time. We decided not to open all of them right away to give her something later on.
Today we opened this present from my brother. It is a wagon with approximately 10,000 pieces. About a half hour in, we lost 5,000 of them. But she did still have fun with it (thanks, JD...just wait until you have kids, I know the noisiest toys!)
***********
I have a confession. I am REALLY bad at diapers. I am not sure why, but I always seem to get them half on/half off. Stuart makes fun of me, and I have no idea why I am so bad at them.
Case in point.

A little closer...

Yep, that is a butt cheek hanging out.
***********

I also want to point out that after about 5 seconds of playing with her toy...Abby (aka. MacGyver) found the most interesting part of the toy.

The plastic part on the box. She brought this piece to me like it was a treasure.
******************
We went to the library today. Most.mortifying.moment.ever.
When I take her to the library, I let her play with the books in the bin that are not in order. She pulls them out, hands them to me and loves every moment of it. All fine.
Today though, a curious 5 year old came over and poked her. Poked her. Then proceeded to sneeze on her. Twice. I hit my breaking point and scooped her up and said it was time to go. OH.MY.GOD. She threw the biggest tantrum I have ever seen. Full body meltdown. I literally had to use my knee to get her back in the stroller. She screamed at the top of her lungs while I checked out and the librarians gave me dirty looks. What did you want me to do? I turned 100 shades of red.
(Side note - the Jacksonville library is the smallest library ever - there were maybe 10 people in there - and that is guessing that people were hiding in the book aisles).
**************
I didn't get a picture, but tonight's meltdown is an indication of what it looked like.

Is that not the saddest face you have ever seen?

Wait...distraction!

Pretty sure Daddy is calling my name.....
**************
Thanks for all the thoughts/prayers on the house. We got an offer, countered and waiting to hear back. Hopefully, I will have great news tomorrow!

Ha! I LOVE these pictures of her in her meltdowns. They crack me up. Those pesky 5 year olds! And JD wants to know why she isn't spelling her name out with those blocks yet.

The meltdowns have arrived! Screw all the people who look at you funny....they don't know you and if they are parents they know this for sure has happened to them at least once in their lives as well!

Hope the house sells!

Yahoo! You all are moving back to Tennessee! Can't wait to see my little Abby walking. She'll be hiking and camping with me in no time. Went to Frozen Head State Park last weekend and they have nice trails and camping is creekside.
