Tonight, my church had their VBS Family Night. Although Abby is too young to do VBS, I still volunteered to help out (while she went swimming at my parents).
Another girl and I were in charge of a bounce house.
The 4 and Under bounce house.
The most controversial bounce house there is.
I can't even begin to tell you how many eye rolls, "that's lame", "That's so unfair", and general foot stomping I witnessed tonight.
From 6 and 7 year old's.
I am not going to lie, there was a little bit of a power high from me. ;)

Within the first 10 minutes, a lady walks up with two small boys. They both get in the bounce house. Apparently, one of them left without her seeing. It was a very stressful time as we had to get the officers involved. Eventually he was found, but not before my partner burst into tears.
Needless to say, after that we watched every child that left and made sure there was a parent there to greet them.
You would be AMAZED at the number of times that I had to escort a child around and find their parents. A 4 and under child.
Then the parents would say, "Oh, is he in trouble?". Uh no, I just thought you might like to know where he is.

Last thought before I pass out from exhaustion:
If I can smell your child's dirty diaper, then you should be able to as well.
Just sayin'
