Today has been one of the roughest days I have had in a long time.
I woke up late.
There was a detour that caused me to get lost on the way to work.
Work was busy, yet I felt like I got nothing done.
My stomach hurt all day.
I had errands to run after work and didn't get home until 7:30.

But the absolute worse part of the day had to be in the dressing room of Old Navy.
I bought a pair of jeans that was a size I have NEVER seen before.
I am not an idiot - I can read the scale and know that I have chunked on a few (many) pounds this past year. I will blame the stress of selling a house, moving across states, and starting a new job.
But that is not a good excuse!

I have been thinking about joining the YMCA, but since Stu starts night school in a few months, I am not sure that it is worth it.
Plus we have a perfectly good, if unused, gym in our apartment complex.

So....I joined Weight Watchers.
I am a total nerd when it comes to numbers and counting, so I am hoping that it works for me.
My goal is 18 pounds. Wish me luck!

NOW THAT IS MOTIVATED 18 lbs. weight watchers. there you go. 1 pound at a time. exercise with Abby! she'll love it. good luck
i have done WW several times. it has always worked for me. after landon i got back on it and lost 40lbs. just trying to keep it off is the hard part. good luck!! are you going to meetings or online? you will loose 18lbs pretty easily just have to stick with it and write EVERYTHING down.
Ann!!!!!! I am back! Well if you want some dinner recipes I am your girl for WW! I have like 8 cook books that are all WW so let me know if you want to use them....some of Benton and Mads favorite things I make are WW recipes so really it is not that bad...I just have a hard time keeping track but we are starting back WW next week as well.
