Fourth of July Weekend

We had a great weekend visiting with my parents as well as hanging out with Julie and Mike. Below are the pictures with some stories of the fun!

Julie's parents live on the lake and the fireworks are across the lake...so we had front row seats. Here is what Abby thought of the fireworks! She did wake up towards the end but just stared at them disinterested.

We went to a place called Victory Lane that is extreme go-cart racing (as you can see from the suits and helmets). After about an hour of waiting (and the guys still hadnt gone), we found out that members were given priority. So since there were about 30 geeky middle aged "members" there, they guys just got their money back and left. They were really looking forward to it, but it was hot and we were tired of waiting.

Mom and I took Abby to Jetton Park where we walked about 1.5 miles near the lake. We decided to stop at the swings. I was hesitant about putting her in the swing, I thought she might be too young, but she LOVED them. Laughed the whole time!

Best thing ever! Mom and Dad will have to take her back more often!

Here is Abby in the stroller, she was so good for the walk.

Getting her feet wet in the lake.

Such a water baby! I can't get over how much she loves being in the water.

Her and my dad spent their quality time sleeping...no matter how cranky she is, Poppa can put her down in 2 seconds!

Again, the next day.

Daddy giving me a bath in tub after an incredibly messy poopy diaper.

Abby also seems to love dogs (and they love her). Here she is again with Kirby. He could not stop staring at her!

Love at first sight!

Abby is 6 months old today! Ill write some tomorrow about her milestones.
