Review:
I know people either adore Emily Giffin or feel like all her books are the same. But honestly, I don't read her enough/frequently to have an opinion like that.
I LOVED this book. I thought it was a great story and fun to read. I really liked Marian and the characters in her life. Kirby was so fun to read about, ah, those teenage rebellion years!

On a side note, I read a fantastic book before this one that I was going to review. I have COMPLETELY forgotten the name of it and who wrote it. It was about a girl that had a dad with mental illness and it was written in her perspective at 30 and trying to find him. Also written from his perspective. If you know which book I am talking about, please leave me a comment!

I've loved all of Emily Giffin's books, but I really think this is my favorite of hers! Not that her other ones are bad, but with the one I didn't feel like I had to choose a side (which so many other books seem to make you do), and I could like both Marian & Kirby. And in case you haven't read it yet, Giffin's Baby Proof is actually the story of one of Marian's good friends.
Emily is my favorite author...and I have read all of her books. My all-time favorite one is Heart of the Matter.
I really enjoyed this one, too, but felt it ended a bit abruptly, in my opinion....but that usually means there is a sequel in the works! Yay!
I have read all of Emily G's books and loved them all. I havent read the newest though. Cant wait to do so.
And I have read a review of the book you are talking about but cant remember! Its going to drive me crazy!!
