Need to Catch Up!

Wow! It has been a really long time since I blogged. Blogging can be like exercise and church, you have to stay in the habit of it. I am headed back to church in the morning, exercise will probably not happen right now, but blogging will come!

*On a side note, after a year of preparation, countless hours of interviews, and many, many sleepless nights....I got a fantastic promotion at work! That is awesome for me, but it will also mean many working nights just trying to stay caught up. So bear with me.

I have many pictures since our Disney trip, here is a recap of what has been going on.

Playdate with Caden decorating cookies for Santa.

Abby loves her some crafts, so this was right up her alley.

Caden's little bro Lawson getting in on the action.

Christmas at the Staples.

Abby opening presents. This little gal is so blessed.

Playing Santa

Christmas morning opening her stocking.

I took no pictures, but Santa brought Abby a Jesus Bible, a guitar, and a Princess mouse and mouse pad. She loves to play games on our computers!

Abby made her first Papa Murphy's Pizza. I called it a Mini Pizza. She thought it was a Minnie (mouse) pizza. She was a little disappointed!

But she still had fun making (and eating) it.

Working a puzzle of the Map of the US.

That reminds me....Santa "dropped" a present in the yard! That silly Santa! Abby got a very cold Minnie Mouse table Christmas Day night.

New Years Eve was a great night at home with friends coming over. Abby was loving her buddy Casey and Spencer coming to hang out.

Those silly kids.

Then it was time for a birthday party!

How fantastic are these cookies that a co-worker made for me?

Some Minnie balloons on the mantel.

This picture doesn't do it justice, but I was pretty stinkin' proud of my Minnie cake!

Getting ready for the party. I set up a coloring station for the kiddos to color Minnie pics.

Abby and Gammy coloring.

Poppa and Abby before the party. Poor Nina was sick and couldn't make it.

Lots of people in the house. We are so blessed!

A walking puppy!

Cinderella!

Paper dolls!

Scrapbook kit!

We were so blessed to have many friends and family come and celebrate Abby's 4th birthday.

But my heart did sink when Abby asked "Can my school friends come?", so next year we will be incorporating more of her friends from school.

The next day, on her actual birthday she had presents awaiting her from us.

New Minnie Mouse underwear!

Princess Shoes!

Ballet slippers!

And a Minnie Mouse plate set.

So....this was my recap from the past few weeks. I know I should have taken more pics, but it didn't happen.

Abby is fully on board to being 4 and will tell anyone around her that she is four (and that Mommy is "dirty-one"). She constantly tells me all the things that she can do now that she is 4. She is taller (according to her), she eats better (because she is all grown up) and repeats everything we say (which can be scary).

Her 4 year well visit is on Monday, so I hope to post her stats here.

4 is going to be a great year!

Happy 4th Birthday, Abby! You are a beautiful and sweet little girl. God bless you. Looks like everyone had a great time at your party. I love to color just as much as you and Gammy. It was one of my favorite things to do when I was a young girl.

Ann, I think you did an awesome job with the Minnie Mouse cake!! I love it! I'm sure it must have tasted so yummy!

Congratulations on your promotion!! What a wonderful way to start the new year!
