Abby had her 2 month check-up today. She weighs 11 pounds and is 23 inches long. She is a great height and weight for her age and healthy as can be!
She also got her first set of shots - she is definitely like her momma that she does not like needles!! Daddy held her down while I looked away and she turned 4 shades of red and screamed extremely loud! But it is over and she doesnt have to go back for two more months!
We toured the child care facility on base, it is very nice and the people are even nicer. We still have a 3-4 month waiting period, but in the meantime our friend Justine will be watching her at the house. We did get her registered for drop-in-care though, where we can take her for a few hours if something came up. They are also open on Saturday nights, if we need a "date night". I think this will help her social skills as well.
